I finally got around to adding a favicon. It is the little site image picture that appears on the tab or in a bookmark.
Further observations on writing blog posts
- Leave the title until you have written the post (it will probably change)
- Review the first sentence, will it hook the reader into the rest of the post
- Pictures are nice but the words matter, get the words done then add pictures if there’s time (unless you already have a picture that says more than words could)
- If you’ve written a short/quick post use the time to start working a future post
(this is not today’s post)
What happened to November 3rd
Day two of the 100 days of blog and I failed to post before midnight. I had the post almost ready to go early in the evening, but we had planned to go out with friends. We weren’t going to be late back so ‘that won’t be a problem’. Just didn’t get back in time, so pushed publish button at midnight and slipped into the next day.
I guess this was bound to happen from time to time. I need to plan ahead and have a couple of reserve posts in hand to use when day’s won’t go to plan.
If your webpage is taking longer to load than my OS, then you’ve lost me.
